Roger Williams University is proud
to be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
To mark this important milestone, President Roy
J. Nirschel appointed a commission to plan a year
long celebration.
This commission, made up of staff,
students, faculty, alumni/ae and friends of the
University has been hard at work planning events
and activities to be celebrated everything that
makes RWU the dynamic and special place that it
is.
The celebration, starting February 2006, promises
to be an exciting one- the likes of which the
RWU community has never seen. Lectures, special
events, social gatherings, academic endeavors
and historical remembrances will help us to mark
the occasion and the people that have helped shape
RWU.
We invite everyone to share in this important
milestone and to take pride in the ways in which
they have contributed to the growth and development
of our University.
Roger Williams University’s 50th anniversary
celebration will be an historic year to remember
our past, celebrate our present, and build our
future. We hope you’ll join us!
