About the '90s
The Clinton Years brought students who were
more socially aware and interested in politics,
serving the community and preserving the environment,
as were their counterparts in the late 60s
and early 70s.
The 90s brought huge change to Roger Williams....from
College to University status with accompanying
graduate programs, the construction of Bayside
Apartments, the Center for Student Development,
a new, modern library, the Marine &
Natural Science Building, an Academic Computer
Center for students and new homes for the
schools of business and engineering. Roger
Williams University became home to Rhode
Island’s first and only School of
Law.
